It is illegal to shovel snow from private property onto the public sidewalks or roadway. Intentional
shoveling of snow into the roadway and failure to keep the sidewalks free of snow is a misdemeanor offense.
During a snow removal crisis declared by the mayor, all vehicles should be removed from the roadway to ease the
removal of snow by city plows. Failure to remove a vehicle, may result in the vehicle being
towed at the owner's expense. For more information, go to our snow emergency
City snow plows have a responsability to quickly and effectively clear streets for safe use by motorists.
The City does not have the time or the resources to personally ask every citizen in town one at a time
to clear their vehicles from the roadway. Please make room for our plows to operate in an efficient manner.
Note: Questions, concerns or complaints regarding snow removal from city streets should be directed to the City of
Chubbuck during regular office hours.
